Meet Suchitra Sivasankaran
In 2019, after working and “lifing” relentlessly and tirelessly, I was diagnosed by my doctor as having Potential Burnout. My reaction was, “Burnout? Is that even a real thing?” I always thought it was just a word thrown around -- this glamorous way to say, “I’m tired.” My entire adult life, I was so busy ticking off all the boxes of what success should look like, and here I was burning out?
As much as I questioned it, I took what my doctor said seriously and decided to take a sabbatical -- calling it “PROJECT SUCHI,” with the purpose of tapping into a deep curiosity about me and understanding WHO AM I?
Today, I can finally say that the only way forward is inward. The more I spent time actually getting to know me, the more I had the a-ha realization that happiness is an inside job!
One of the first things I learned early on in my journey was to consistently notice the blaringly loud negative chatter in my head. I started to take note of these voices and figure out how to distance myself from them. It made me realize we all have that negative mental chatter — I was not alone.
Continually paying attention, taking my power back, and stepping into my highest self led to me experience a sense of clarity and lightness. With that energy shift, the opportunities that came my way, the people that showed up in my life, the speed at which I started to manifest, all of it — was as if the universe was showing up for me because I was choosing me. What you want, wants you too!
That’s ultimately our why behind Inside & Out — built with purpose, for a past version of myself and to meet YOU where you are today. Our mission is to help you check in with yourself before you check in with the world. If you’re tuned in, we’re here for you and with you. It’s one thing to BE successful on the outside and a whole other thing to FEEL successful on the inside -- isn’t that feeling what we are all rooting for anyway? It’s contagious! The power is in realizing that it is only achieved when we look inward, consistently.
